Mid-Spring Wildflowers at Long Pond with Boot Boutwell
Monday, May 10, 9:15 am - 11:30 am
Leader: Boot Boutwell
April showers bring May flowers. It’s mid-May and lots of Spring wildflowers are in full bloom at Long Pond. Join Boot Boutwell on a slow-paced nature walk which will focus on wildflower identification as well as fun and interesting natural history. Perhaps we’ll see the flower which The Chippewa reportedly used as a remedy for craziness.
Meet at the Long Pond parking lot (opposite #532), South Border Rd, Winchester. Steady rain cancels.
Contact: Boot Boutwell (781-729-4712).
