Lower Sheepfold parking lot, MA Route 28 (Main Street), Stoneham

Difficulty: easy/moderate

Appropriate for: Adults and families with grade school children or older.

About Tom: Tom Clark is a long time walker/hiker of the Fells. As a young boy, he peddled through the Fells and now retired just simply enjoys its beauty with benefits of exercise. He grew up in Malden and has made Medford his home for the last 45 years.

About the hike:  An easy to moderate pace would start at the Sheepfold lower parking lot (1st lot on your right). The Skyline Trail (white flags), through North to Bear Hill Tower, returning on the green trail to the old trolley track rail bed past Dark Hollow Pond to where we began.

Our goal is to meet fellow trail walkers, maybe get some exercise, socialize and enjoy the beauty the Middlesex Fells Reservation has to offer.

Meet at the lower Sheepfold parking lot off MA Route 28 (Main Street) in Stoneham.

Steady rain or heavy snow cancels.
